Altechnica is a Zero Carbon / Super-Passive Solar Architecture, Technology Innovation and Renewable Energy Consulting practice established by Dr Derek Taylor in 1990 to carry out commissions, research and projects.Altechnica reviewed renewable energy potential in Uttlesford, Merton BC and in Kent. They are currently the architect/renewable energy consultant for a Super Passive Solar™ Zero Carbon House in West of England, which combines zero carbon design with innovative technologies to achieve one of the most energy efficient houses in the UK, designed to achieve PassiveHaus standards.Altechnica is developing a family of innovative Altechnica Zero Emissions Dwellings™ intended to result in zero emissions of CO2 and to obtain practically all of its energy requirements from building-integrated renewable energy and require no space heating.
