Our starting point for design is a sense of responsibility – both social and environmental – because we believe that good architecture can make better places. We are realistic and pragmatic in our approach, but know that our work also has a more creative purpose: to challenge expectations and lift the spirits. For ArchitecturePLB, a sustainable approach is central to our ethos and the practice has a long track record of inventive sustainable design solutions across a range of different building types. As well as being Passivhaus Designers, we are experienced in implementing BREEAM, designing to achieve Excellent and Outstanding targets and have applied the SKA environmental assessment methodology on a range of refurbishment projects.
