Arfon Timber Frames is North Wales premier green building company. We produce a carbon negative hybrid timber frame panel system; which is quite a mouthful, so for short we just call our panels “EcoSIPs”. In order to reduce their carbon footprint our approach is to minimise or eliminate the use of steel, plastic and concrete in our buildings. All of our super structures, including wall, roof and floor panels are made from timber products. We use wood fibre insulation throughout our buildings. Finally, where there are large window openings, vaulted ceilings or balconies to be achieved, there won’t be a steel in sight (or out of sight); instead all of these details are achieved with heavy timber sections, traditionally joined trusses and skilled craftsmanship.
