Beyond Carbon are Passivhaus designers, architectural physicists, engineers and innovators with a passion for excellent, beyond-zero-carbon built environments. Co-founded by Dr. Joel Callow and Chris Swinburn, our work divides into the strategic, big picture thinking and design, fusing creativity with long-term vision, and the forensic details, methodical planning and testing to achieve the Passivhaus standard. We believe both elements create environments which delight and deliver.

We are not conventional engineers; we think creatively, exploring innovations whilst completing complex finite element modelling from our years of experience. We make projects buildable, taking pride in our hands-on approach and quality management.
