BPA has always tried to be as sustainable as possible and aim to introduce clients to the benefits of sustainable design. Recently Rosemary has qualified as a passive house certified designer. She has long had an interest in sustainable design and with the qualification hopes to work on more sustainable projects. The practice is currently working on a development consisting of Passive House flats and houses. We have a further project, where an extension to a listed building is to be to passive house standards with the existing house improved as far as possible within the constraints of the acceptability to the planners and within the limit of the budget. The practice is also looking at Enerphit projects with a long term client who specialises in over-cladding old buildings.
