Based in East Lothian and working throughout Scotland and the North of England, Brennan & Wilson Architects specialise in both rural and urban sustainable design of housing, commercial, community and arts projects. John Brennan and Julie Wilson met whilst working at Gaia Architects, and later formed Brennan & Wilson Architects in 2002. Julie Wilson is a European Certified Passive House Designer. The practice have completed a number of projects to Passivhaus and Enerfit standard. John Brennan combines practice with academic education, and is Professor of Sustainable Architecture at The University of Edinburgh.
