Nick Grant is a freelance energy consultant who has worked almost exclusively on Passivhaus projects since 2008. He worked with Architype and fellow Passivhaus consultant and building services engineer Alan Clarke to deliver four of the first Passivhaus schools in the UK as well as the first two Passivhaus Archives and the first Passivhaus Extra Care housing.

Working with Alan he has specialised in very low energy archive buildings, new build and retrofit, combining the approach of the late Tim Padfield with lessons from Passivhaus design and construction.

Nick was a founding member of the Passivhaus Trust and Coaction who deliver practitioner-led Passivhaus training. https://coaction.org.uk
