Established in 2018, Thompson and Associates is a RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne with a rural studio situated between Morpeth and Alnwick in Northumberland, with projects nationwide. We are passionate about design and architecture and how it can have a positive impact and benefit those who live and work in the built environment. Our methodology encompasses a sustainable ethos with a low carbon fabric first approach, embracing passivhaus principles and renewable technologies as the overarching driver behind our design process. As an architectural practice we believe that exciting contemporary design and ecologically sound energy efficient construction go together. At THAA we endeavour to adopt this approach on all our projects.
