denhofdesign founded in 2014 by Thomas Denhof is an architectural practice specialising in the design and construction of low energy houses and retrofitting, working with modern and traditional methods of construction.
Thomas started working in London in 2003 for highly esteemed architectural practices on various high-end residential projects as well as working for a well-known interior designer and an internationally operating landscape designer.
The work on design-led residential projects is complemented by ongoing research into low-energy methodology and the use of sustainable materials in recent years.
The Passivhaus design course was passed in 2014 providing the perfect toolset for the design of low-energy projects for new-build and refurbishment alike from inception to completion.
The clients’ needs and requirements are always at the core of any project the practice undertakes.

Combining a vision for clear and modern design with good technical knowledge of how to realise the best possible design result within the constraints given is the key ambition of the practice.
