Membership Level change

Individuals wishing to support, become involved with and relish the benefits of the Passivhaus Trust may join. Benefits are only applicable to that individual. Website/address/phone listings of organisations the individual works at or is affiliated with will not be displayed on the members directory (if consent is given to appear).

Membership is annual. A reminder to renew and re-select the appropriate membership level will be sent by email one month before the renewal date.

The price for membership is £200.00 +VAT

Membership expires after 1 Year.

Our members directory & map is a great way for people to discover members in their local area. If you have entered a private residence above, you may tick this if you do not wish to show up in our directory and map for privacy.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Passivhaus Trust logo can only be used with the express written permission of the Passivhaus Trust team or Directors.
  2. Standard Members can use the PHT Member brand (e.g. name, logo, descriptive text) in corporate literature, documents, webpages etc and for similar uses relating to Passivhaus projects.
  3. Founder Members, Partners and Patron Members can use the PHT Founder, PHT Partner and Patron brands (e.g. name, logo, descriptive text) respectively in corporate literature, documents, webpages etc and for similar uses relating to Passivhaus projects.
  4. The PHT logos, including those for Members, Founders, Partners and Patrons do not construe achievement of the Passivhaus standard and must not be presented as such by Members, Founders, Partners or Patrons. In particular, they cannot be used to imply achievement of the Passivhaus Standard on an individual building or building project, nor to signify achievement of Passivhaus related training qualifications, such as Passive House certifier or Passive House Certified Designer (CEPH) etc.
  5. Members must refer to Passive House (or Passivhaus) Buildings and the components used in their construction exclusively as those buildings/ components that fulfill the Passive House Standard criteria, as set out by the Passive House Institute, Darmstadt, Germany (see www.passivehouse-international.org).
  6. Membership applies to the company, brand or similar name registered. This name will be used on all Passivhaus Trust materials and use of the PHT branding is restricted to activities occurring under this name.
  7. If Membership is sought by a subsidiary company or division, then the subsidiary company must have an identity that is distinct from the parent company or companies; membership in this case will be subject to approval by the PHT Board.
  8. Standard Membership fees are paid on an annual basis, and will be accounted in full at time of payment. No arrangements are available for partial membership or repayment of fees, even if Membership benefits are no longer required or available.
  9. Patron Membership fees are paid on an annual basis, and will be accounted in full at time of payment. No arrangements are available for partial membership or repayment of fees, even if Membership benefits are no longer required. A fixed portion of the fee will be accounted in full at time of payment in return for Patron benefits. The remainder of the fee will be allocated to Membership fees for a period of 1 year.
  10. PHT Membership is available to companies and organisations only, except for sole traders, individuals and student members. Individual membership for people working within companies and organisations will only be granted at the discretion of the Board.
